Porter Corporate interiors opened their doors in early 2004, offering business interior design, commercial furnishings and building finishes to commercial, medical and governmental markets.
This husband and wife team began work with the El Paso Community College SBDC from the very start to support their ultimate goal of securing financing to start their own business. Along with SBDC Business Development Specialist Larry Madrid, the Porters submitted a successful proposal to obtain an SBA guaranteed loan from United Bank of El Paso Del Norte. Since their start in May of 2004, the company has experienced steady growth and introduced new product lines -- all supported by their 100% customer service satisfaction philosophy. The start-up project was able access a $66,000 SBA loan and create 3 new jobs.
