Mr. Segura is a native of Marfa, Texas. He holds a B.B.A. and a M.A. in Business Administration from Sul Ross State University. His professional work experience has been in community college education and administration for the last 30 years. He has held various positions at El Paso Community College including Small Business Development Center Director, Chairperson for the Division of Business & Applied Arts, Coordinator of Cooperative Education, and full-time faculty member. His professional career includes over 20 years in business development and management consulting and three years in vocational rehabilitation for the blind.

A native El Pasoan, Olga Tavárez holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in Santa Teresa, NM and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management/Human Resources from Park University. She has extensive experience and expertise in management, marketing, human resources, supervision, finance, planning, research, and administration. She also has taught business management, computer science, and language skills courses with private vocational education institutions in El Paso. Her professional work experience includes employment with El Paso Community College; A. C. Nielsen, an affiliate of Dun & Bradstreet; and Sierra-Providence Medical Health Network.
Ms. Tavárez received her Certified Businss Advisor IV designation in 2006 from the South West Texas Border SBDC Network of The University of Texas at San Antonio. She also received the Star Performer Award in 2006, a national recognition by the Association of Small Business Development Centers of top performing business advisors.

Ruth Cude, Certified Public Accountant, holds a Master of Accountancy degree and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration degree. Her 32-year professional experience has been in the accountancy field as comptroller, assistant comptroller, accountant, and adjunct faculty member of business administration and business technology in higher education, and as Business Manager for Genesis 21 Group of El Paso, a business consulting firm. She recently joined the El Paso Small Business Development Center (SBDC) as full-time Business Advisor.

Gregorio Flores is a native of Cd. Chihuahua Mexico. He holds Master degrees in Total Quality Management from the University of Chihuahua and in Global Management from the University of Phoenix. His professional experience of over 23 years has been in developing diverse manufacturing industries and businesses in Mexico and USA. He specializes in total quality and human resources management. He has taught Mexican labor law, SPC, Business Administration and HR Management for the Instituto de Estudios Superiores Paso Del Norte in Cd. Juarez. He is also an instructor for the Small Business Management Institute at El Paso Community College. His expertise is in:

This model has been presented in diverse TQM world congresses in India, Italy, Portugal, USA, Arab Emirates, and Canada. In 2003, he competed with this model in Tokyo in the 6th international JICA thesis contest, winning 4th place among 350 theses from around the world.

Mr. Martinez holds a law degree from Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juarez. His professional experience of over 17 years has been in associate and management positions with law firms in Mexico including Bryan, Gonzalez, Vargas y Gonzalez Baz, S.C.; Toulet, Caballero y Diaz Marin, S.C.; Deloitte; as well as general counsel for Dolphin Discovery Group in Mexico and the British West Indies; specializing in corporate, real estate and environmental law. He recently joined the El Paso SBDC team of business advisors on full-time basis. He brings a wealth of professional experience in corporate law, Mexican business practices, mergers and joint ventures, real estate and environmental issues.
